Bulldog Knives The Wharncliffe Whittler knives are available in either Carbon Steel or Surgical Stainless Steel. These can be easily identified by the tang stamp on the back of the master blade. The tang stamp on the Carbon Steel blades The tang stamp on the Surgical Stainless Steel blades The "Two Dogs" tang stamp is on the front of all blades	The Bulldog Wharncliffe Whittlers were made in 2002 and 2003, and come in three sizes. Overall Size (closed) Master Blade Length Minor blade Length 4-1/8" 2-5/8" 1-5/8" 3-7/8" 2-5/8" 1-5/8" 3-1/8" 2" 1-5/16" Note that the larger size 4-1/8" knives have the same size blades as the 3-7/8" knives. Blades: Wharncliffe Pen Coping All blades have a "match strike" nail nick on the larger 4-1/8" knifes, and there are plain nail nicks on the other two knives. There are two types of frosted blade etching: Double Doghead Seductress Note that the etch of the upper right scroll is slightly different on the small knives.
