A huge and rare world atlas published by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge in 1844.

Contains superb maps of continents and countries, and includes detailed larger scale maps of sections of the USA (although there are some fairly blank open spaces in the area west of the Mississippi!) and England, plus street maps of major cities throughout the world.
